JS-8, JS-8A type discharge counter (hereinafter referred to as counter) is a device connected in series under the arrester to record the number of arrester actions. JS8 type is used for 6kV~220kV voltage level. JS8A type is used for valve type arresters of 330kV and above voltage level. The environmental conditions of the place of use are the same as those of the connected arrester, the altitude does not exceed 4000 meters, and the ambient temperature is -409C~+409C. It is not suitable for gases that seriously corrode metals and insulating parts, places with severe pollution and severe vibration.
